Angel Correspondences to the Chakras

The Root Chakra – The Root Chakra is located at the base of the spine.  It assists with grounding and will power.  Its corresponding angel is Archangel Gabriel.  The root chakra is associated with the color red and the crystals red jasper and red tiger’s eye.  Related physical areas include the large intestine, adrenal system rectum, lower back, legs, and feet.

The Root Chakra helps to physically ground us to the earth.  It also provides us courage and willpower.  If this chakra goes unbalanced, we may suffer from fear, low vitality, and self-centeredness. 

The Sacral Chakra – The Sacral Chakra is located near the lower abdomen just above the pelvic bone.  It assists with creativity and sexuality.  Its corresponding angel has been said to also be Archangel Gabriel.  The sacral chakra is associated with the color orange and the crystal carnelian.  Related physical areas and illnesses include the lower intestine, kidneys, reproductive organs, hormones, bladder, bowels, bronchitis, asthma, and blood circulatory system.

The Sacral Chakra helps us with all of our physical senses, plus creativity and sexuality.  When it is balanced correctly, it gives you creative abilities and makes you feel fully alive.

The Solar Plexus Chakra – The solar plexus chakra is located near the navel.  It helps us with personal power, security, and confidence.  Its corresponding angel is Archangel Jophiel.  The Solar Plexus chakra is associated with the color yellow and the crystals citrine, amber, or Yellow Tiger’s eye.  Related physical areas include the digestive system, liver, gallbladder, and spleen. 

The Sacral Chakra helps boost self-confidence and self-awareness.  If this chakra becomes unbalanced, you may feel insecure, unconfident, and aggressive.

The Heart Chakra – The Heart Chakra is located near the heart.  It helps with love, healing, and relationships of all kinds.  Its corresponding angel is Archangel Raphael.  The Heart Chakra is associated with the color green and the crystal aventurine.  Related physical areas and illnesses include heart conditions, thymus gland, immune system, headaches, migraine, and related symptoms of stress.

The Heart Chakra helps your emotional well-being and our abilities for unconditional love.  If the heart chakra becomes unbalanced, we may not be able to express and give love to others.  We may also become emotionally unstable.

The Throat Chakra – The throat Chakra is located near the throat.  It helps with communications of all kinds.  Its corresponding angel is Archangel Michael.  The Throat Chakra is associated with the color blue and the crystals sodalite and blue howlite.  Related physical areas and illness include the thyroid system, weight, and its associated problems, teeth, and gums. 

The Throat Chakra helps with mental creativity and communication.  When balanced, communication flows smoothly.  When it is unbalanced, verbal expression becomes repressed. 

The Third Eye Chakra – The Third Eye Chakra is located between the eyebrows.  It helps with inner wisdom, intuition, clairvoyance, and dreams.  Its corresponding angel is Archangel Raziel.  The Third Eye Chakra is associated with the color indigo and the crystal lapis lazuli.  Related physical areas and illness are the head, eyes, ears, nose, pituitary gland, and headaches. 

The Third Eye Chakra helps us with our “sixth” sense.  If it is blocked, we may feel lost or confused.  It can also lead to irrational thoughts, stress, and insomnia. 

The Crown Chakra – The Crown Chakra is located at the top of the head.  It helps us with spiritual understanding, intuition, dreams, and mental clarity.  Its corresponding angel is Archangel Zadkiel.  The Crown Chakra is associated with the color violet and the crystal amethyst.  Related physical areas and illness are the immune system, pain relief, and the physical healing process. 

The Crown Chakra helps us to connect with spirituality.  It is through the Crown Chakra that we connect with the Angelic realm.  When our Crown Chakra is balanced, we feel spiritually connected to the universe.  We also understand our life purpose and spiritual path.  However, when the Crown Chakra becomes unbalanced, we can be left with a feeling of confusion about our life purpose.  We will also feel spiritually dry.
