What is Mundane Astrology?

Mundane Astrology is the Astrology used in interpretations and forecasts of the collective.  It concerns itself with collective worldly events such as politics, the stock market, weather, and natural disasters.  Mundane Astrology is different from the Astrology of the individual, which focuses on interpretations of character and forecasts within an individual’s life.

The name mundane is taken from the Roman word Mundus meaning “the world”. Mundane astrology originated from one of the oldest branches of Astrology, judicial astrology.  Mundane astrologers believe there is a correspondence between the movement of the heavenly bodies and earthly events.  Mundane astrology looks at the events in history and given patterns. In this way, mundane astrology is helpful for humanity in predicting future events and happenings.
