Hi Debra, Its a common misconception that Charles Darwin talks only about the survival of the fittest – what he discovered was about adaptation and how animals adapt to their environments – in some cases being the most loving could make you the “fittest” to survive and reproduce. Unfortunately the misinterpretation of Darwin has been used by many quite right-wing philosophies- if we look at what Darwin discovered it can not be broken down to that simple phrase and neither should it be.
